My Hope is Not Simply to Introduce My Books...
My Hope is to Introduce My Heart.
When I began writing children’s stories, I thought my purpose was to create books children would love.
Over time, I realized something deeper.
The books are only part of the journey.
My greater hope is that, through these pages, you will come to know the heart behind Whisperwoods.
I believe every child deserves to know they are loved, valued, and capable of great adventures. I believe families grow stronger when they laugh together, dream together, and read together. I believe grandparents pass on more than stories—they pass on wisdom, traditions, and memories that become part of a child’s life forever.
I also believe that reading is the power behind learning and growing. Every book opens another door. Every story expands a child’s imagination. Every page has the potential to plant a seed that may not bloom until years later.
I believe a voice can carry hope.
Throughout my life, I’ve watched simple words travel farther than I ever imagined. Sometimes an encouraging thought shared today returns months later through someone else’s voice. That reminds me that we may never know how far kindness, truth, or hope can travel once we release them into the world.
That is my prayer for The Whisperwoods Journal.
May these pages encourage families to spend a little more time together.
May they inspire one more bedtime story.
May they help children discover the joy of reading.
And may they remind each of us that even the smallest light can brighten someone’s path.
